Annual Winter Cruise - 2008
J World San Francisco
offers our Liveaboard Cruising
Courses on a special trip south each year. Our winter cruise,
a genuine 'education vacation', leaves
the Bay each year in October. This is a beautiful time of year to be sailing
down the California coast, and we offer multiple legs to choose from, each one
filled with fantastic destinations and superb sailing opportunities.
A J World instructor
will be with you the whole time, and you may earn your US Sailing
Basic Cruising or
Bareboat Cruising
certifications. We'll make sure that you get the experience,
knowledge, and confidence to go it alone next time! Since we
keep the student to instructor ration very low (4:1
for most legs) to make sure you get lots of personal attention,
spaces are limited and enrollment has begun for all legs, so please contact us early reserve your spot!
 Leg
I - San Francisco to Santa Barbara -
October 11-17
This 7 day leg will mark the departure for the trip south.
Possible stops include Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz, Monterey Bay, Morro
Bay, and the Channel Islands. $2790

II - Santa Barbara to San Diego
- October 19-23
A 5 day leg, this one wanders through the Channel
Islands: Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, Annacapa, and Catalina Islands mark
the passage south, culminating in San Diego! $1995
 Leg III -
San Diego to Cabo San Lucas - October
26-November 8
For
this 2 week trip, we join the
Baja-Ha-Ha,
the renowned cruiser's rally heading off to Mexico for the cruising

reputation it has for bringing together a great bunch of folks for
some good times and fair sailing! $3985

IV - Cabo to Puerto Vallarta
- November 9-15
This 7-Day cruise crosses the Sea of Cortez,
then skirts down the mainland side of the sea, and finally slips
into Banderas Bay and to the J World
base in Paradise Village, Puerto Vallarta... just in time
for Banderas Bay Week, a week of events for sailors and
landlubbers... have your family, friends or significant other come
on down to join in the fun in Paradise!

* Prices include all
fuel, port/harbor fees, taxes, and onboard provisions (except for
the Baja-Ha-Ha, where the provisions are split between the crew).
