Sailboat Racing
Starting & Tactics
Starting and Tactics - Course Description
The J World Starting and
Tactics weekend is the ultimate weekend yacht racing workshop.
We spend only two hours in the classroom, then at least six hours on
the water everyday. Forget the all-day classroom seminars...
let's go sailing! We'll get start after start after start off,
each one providing invaluable experience and insights from your
onboard coach. You want some tight racing, close mark rounding
scenarios, rules situations, and tactical conundrums? You'll
get them all, and you'll get them in a positive learning environment
with immediate feedback.
This is the ultimate
brush-up weekend. It doesn't matter if you sail a Lightning or
a Beneteau 40.7, a Hobie Miracle or a Nelson/Marek IOR wonder, this
course will get your skills all ready to take on the competition.
