J World Annual Sea of Cortez Cruise

Each Spring, J/World Sailing School hosts a special trip crossing the stunning Sea of Cortez. The 2011 cruise departs Cabo on March 27 and will arrive in Puerto Vallarta on April 1. The return trip will commence on May 1 in Puerto Vallarta, and arrive in Cabo on May 6.

A J World Sailing School instructor will be with you the whole time on this liveaboard cruising course, and you may earn your US Sailing Basic Cruising or Bareboat Cruising certifications. We'll make sure that you get the experience, knowledge, and confidence to go it alone next time! Since we keep the student to instructor ratio very low to make sure you get lots of personal attention.

Possible ports-of-call on the mainland side include Punta Mita, Chacala, San Blas, and the remarkable Isla Isabella. The crossing of the Sea of Cortez is always an rewarding passage, with a vast array of wildlife and some great sailing conditions. $2790 per person (plus taxes).
