- Who Are We?
J/World is the preeminent source for sailing skills development
and yachting activities. We are sailors with enthusiasm for
sailing and oceanic adventures. Since our founding in 1981, we have
put our expertise and knowledge to work teaching thousands of
sailors from around the world how to sail, and how to be better
sailors. From
first time mariners to seasoned salts, we have programs designed to

J/World Sailing Club
In our ongoing endeavor to make the joys
and challenges of sailing accessible, we have created the J/World
Sailing Club. Now our alumni and other qualified sailors can
sail modern and exciting vessels without having to own and maintain
expensive equipment. It is a great way to get out on the
water, while meeting like-minded individuals for continued
adventures.
Corporate Team Building Activities
Efficiently sailing a boat requires many of the same
skills that successfully managing a business enterprise
necessitates. Teamwork, planning, attention to detail,
communication and execution are all requisite elements for
performing at our peak. Our proven team building programs will
provide an pleasure and unforgettable experience while emphasizing
the use business critical skills.
Bareboat and Skippered Charters
J/World offers bareboat and skippered charters both
in our home waters in San Francisco Bay, at our satellite location
in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and around the world with
our partner Sunsail, the largest yacht and bareboat charter company
in the world. Whether you have solid skills and want to go it
alone in a tropical corner of the world, or you want a highly
qualified instructor/captain aboard on an education vacation, or if
you want to simple leave the sailing to us while you soak up the
sun, we can make your dreams come true over broad horizons.
