From San
Francisco:
Take the Bay Bridge to 880 South towards San Jose. Follow 880 South
and exit at Broadway/Alameda Exit. At the foot of the exit turn
right. Follow signage reading Alameda/Broadway/Jack London Square.
This will put you onto 5th Street. Turn right onto Washington
Street. At the roundabout in front of the Waterfront Hotel, Water
Street is to your left (pedestrian traffic only).
From South of Oakland (including the
Oakland Airport):
Highway 880 North to the Broadway exit. Take a left on Broadway.
Take a right on Embarcadero, then take a left on Washington Street.
As you come off any of the freeways, look for the Sail Boat sign to
direct you to Jack London Square.
From North of Oakland:
From 80, take 880 South and exit at Broadway/Alameda Exit. At the
foot of the exit turn right. Follow signage reading
Alameda/Broadway/Jack London Square. This will put you onto 5th
Street. Turn right onto Washington Street. At the roundabout in
front of the Waterfront Hotel, Water Street is to your left
(pedestrian traffic only).
From Contra Costa County:
Take the Highway 24 to Interstate 980/Downtown Oakland (careful not
to get on 580 toward Hayward) Take the 11th - 12th Street exit,
straight on Brush Street, (you will be parallel with the freeway).
Take a left on 3rd, right on Broadway. Take a right on Embarcadero,
then take a left on Washington. At the roundabout in front of the
Waterfront Hotel, Water Street is to your left (pedestrian traffic
only).
By Ferry:
Take the Alameda/Oakland Ferry from San Francisco, board either at
PIER 39 in Fisherman's Wharf, or the Ferry Building. Our
office and classrooms are a 1 minute walk form the ferry terminal!
From BART:
Get off the BART at the 12th Street Oakland Station, then catch the
free Broadway Shuttle to Jack London Square. Click

By Bus:
Local AC Transit buses Lines 72, 72M, 72R. Plus now the new A Line
that offers TransBay Express service on new luxury coaches between
Oakland International Airport and downtown San Francisco, with stops
at Amtrak, JLS, and Oakland City Center at Broadway & 12th.

There are two ferries which run from San
Francisco to Oakland. One leaves from the Ferry Building at
the base of Market Street, downtown, and the Blue & Gold fleet runs
out of Pier 39, near Fisherman's Wharf. For links to both
