The Boat

Humu-Humu is a 70 foot Cheoy/Morelli designed catamaran with four private double cabins, a huge main salon, and, of course, acres of deck space.  The boat is powered by a massive rig, and is capable of topping 20 knots in moderate conditions.  This is a rare sailing machine!  Click here for more info and pictures of "Humu-Humu."

The Trips

Choose from a variety of adventures on this fantastic vessel.  The boat comes fully equipped with a skipper and crew, and all the 'toys' such as kayaks and snorkeling gear, which will make for a great trip.  There is a staff of 2-3 of our J World team aboard to make sure that everyone has an enjoyable time.  These are not your average cruises where we just fire up the motors and pretend to sail...  these are true sailing adventures, and is appropriate for all ability levels.

Banderas Bay Cruise

This four-day getaway adventure will take you all around the wonderful "Bay of Flags" which surrounds the Puerto Vallarta region.

Fly in on Friday and spend the afternoon enjoying the comforts of our host facility, the Paradise Village Resort and Spa.

The next morning, we will head out sail along the northern stretches of the bay, anchoring in the afternoon at Punta Mita.  Snorkeling, surfing, and exploring the town ashore are the favored activities.  A variety of restaurants can be found along the shore, or dine aboard the boat and enjoy the sunset.

On Sunday, we'll sail over to the Marietta Islands and anchor for lunch.   Explore the caves in kayaks and snorkel in the clear waters around the uninhabited islands before we set sail again, this time bound for the southern shore of the Bay, where the majestic Sierra Madre mountains drop down to the water.  We'll tuck into an anchorage at Yelapa, or Quimixto where we can hike scenic trails to waterfalls and dine at one of the small restaurants overlooking the bay.

On Monday, we'll have a leisurely sail back to our home base in Puerto Vallarta, keeping our eyes peeled for whales, dolphins, turtles, sea rays, and the like...  wildlife abounds in Banderas Bay!

The costs for the Banderas Bay Cruise is $3200 per cabin (double occupancy) plus taxes.

San Blas Cruise

This five-day cruise starts out at our wonderful base in Puerto Vallarta and heads north along the Pacific coast of Mexico to the stunning town of San Blas.

We'll meet at our host facility, the Paradise Village Resort and Spa on Monday.  Get settled aboard the boat, then enjoy the pools, golf courses, and amenities.

Tuesday Morning we'll head out early, along the northern coast of Banderas Bay, around the northern point, and into the Pacific.  The full day trip will give everyone plenty of time sailing the big cat, relaxing, and enjoying the scenery.  In the afternoon, we'll pull into the wide Matanchén Bay and drop anchor.

Wednesday is a play day.  Visit the scenic town of San Blas, swim, surf, kayak...  whatever you like!

On Thursday we have a wonderful downwind sail to Punta Mita.  We'll be in port early enough to catch some more snorkeling or surfing, and the small town plays host to a wide range of restaurants right along the beach.

Finally on Friday we'll have a return sail to Puerto Vallarta.

The cost for the Puerto Vallarta / San Blas Cruise is $4200 per cabin (double occupancy) plus taxes.
