J World Puerto Vallarta is now offering sailing adventures
aboard our 70 foot performance catamaran based out of Puerto
Vallarta, Mexico. This is a truly rare breed of cat which
is able to strut her stuff in the wondrous waters off the
Pacific Coast of Mexico.
The Region
The Banderas Bay Region is one of the great sailing venues of

The
Boat
Humu-Humu is a 70 foot Cheoy/Morelli designed catamaran with
four private double cabins, a huge main salon, and, of course, acres of deck space. The boat is powered by a
massive rig, and is capable of topping 20 knots in moderate conditions.

The Trips
Choose from a variety of adventures on this fantastic vessel.
The boat comes fully equipped with a skipper and crew, and all
the 'toys' such as kayaks and snorkeling gear, which will make
for a great trip. There is a staff of 2-3 of our J World
team aboard to make sure that everyone has an enjoyable time.
These are not your average cruises where we just fire up the
motors and pretend to sail... these are true sailing
adventures, and is appropriate for all ability levels.
Banderas Bay Cruise
This four-day getaway adventure will take you all around the
wonderful "Bay of Flags" which surrounds the Puerto Vallarta
region.
Fly in on Friday and spend the afternoon enjoying the comforts
of our host facility, the Paradise Village Resort and Spa.
The next morning, we will head out sail along the northern
stretches of the bay, anchoring in the afternoon at Punta Mita.
Snorkeling, surfing, and exploring the town ashore are the
favored activities. A variety of restaurants can be found
along the shore, or dine aboard the boat and enjoy the sunset.
On Sunday, we'll sail over to the Marietta Islands and anchor
for lunch. Explore the caves in kayaks and snorkel
in the clear waters around the uninhabited islands before we set
sail again, this time bound for the southern shore of the Bay,
where the majestic Sierra Madre mountains drop down to the
water. We'll tuck into an anchorage at Yelapa, or Quimixto
where we can hike scenic trails to waterfalls and dine at one of
the small restaurants overlooking the bay.
On Monday, we'll have a leisurely sail back to our home base in
Puerto Vallarta, keeping our eyes peeled for whales, dolphins,
turtles, sea rays, and the like... wildlife abounds in
Banderas Bay!
The costs for the Banderas Bay Cruise is $3200 per cabin (double
occupancy) plus taxes.
San Blas Cruise
This five-day cruise starts out at our wonderful base in Puerto Vallarta
and heads north along the Pacific coast of Mexico to the
stunning town of San Blas.
We'll meet at our host facility, the Paradise Village Resort and
Spa on Monday. Get settled aboard the boat, then enjoy the
pools, golf courses, and amenities.
Tuesday Morning we'll head out early, along the northern coast
of Banderas Bay, around the northern point, and into the
Pacific. The full day trip will give everyone plenty of
time sailing the big cat, relaxing, and enjoying the scenery.
In the afternoon, we'll pull into the wide Matanchén Bay and
drop anchor.
Wednesday is a play day. Visit the scenic town of San Blas,
swim, surf, kayak... whatever you like!
On Thursday we have a wonderful downwind sail to Punta Mita.
We'll be in port early enough to catch some more snorkeling or
surfing, and the small town plays host to a wide range of
restaurants right along the beach.
Finally on Friday we'll have a return sail to Puerto Vallarta.
The cost for the Puerto Vallarta / San Blas Cruise is $4200 per
cabin (double occupancy) plus taxes.
